Hyrule Castle, it seems, suddenly sits where Lon-Lon Ranch was in Ocarina of time, and Kakariko Village not only looks radically different, but has moved southeast. Zora’s Domain is suddenly located far to the north, when it previously was east of Kakariko Village. You see, there is a lot of callback from this game to Ocarina of Time, and as such, a lot of the locations from there reappear in this game, with Kakariko Village, Death Mountain, Zora’s Domain and Lake Hylia being perhaps the most obvious examples.Īnd what bugs me so much about this is… well, all of the regions are in the wrong places! I suppose the first thing that sort of bugged me has to do with the map. So let’s stop wittering on, and get to nitpicking! I’d like to talk about a few details that bugged and confused me a bit about this game. And this, after all, is what this article is about. I love these games, having played them a lot over the years, and when I later I played Twilight Princess, I found myself really enjoying that as well.īut of course, just because I like it a lot, that doesn’t mean the game is therefore perfect. Now, I have written about the Legend of Zelda before, but that time, I was talking about Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask.
